Healthy Whole Wheat Banana Bread with Honey & Nuts | No Maida, No Sugar

  • 220 gms whole wheat flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

  • 225 gms ripe bananas (mashed)

  • 168 gms honey

  • 2 eggs

  • 75 gms coconut oil or melted butter

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 56 gms milk

  • ½ cup chopped nuts (walnuts, almonds, or pecans or chocolate chips)


Step-by-Step Recipe:

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a loaf pan.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together whole wheat flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon powder and salt.

  3. In another bowl, mash the bananas until smooth. Add honey, eggs, oil, and vanilla. Mix well.

  4. Slowly fold the dry mix into the wet mixture. Do not overmix.

  5. Add in the chopped nuts and gently fold them in.

  6. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth the top.

  7. Bake for 50–55 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

  8. Allow it to cool before slicing – your kitchen will smell amazing!
