Ingredients You’ll Need:

     FOR BASE :

  • 2 cups oats

  • 3 cups Whole Wheat Flour 

  • 1 cup pitted dates (or honey for variation)

  • 1 tsp salt 

  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups melted butter (unsalted)

  • Pinch of cinnamon (optional)

     FOR TOP LAYER ( CRUNCHY PART)
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts, raisins)

  • ½ cup seeds (chia, flax, pumpkin, sunflower)

  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

  • 2 large eggs 

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • 1 1/2 cup shredded coconut 

  • 1/3 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup honey

  • 1/4 tsp salt 



Step-by-Step Recipe:

  1. Blend dates into a sticky paste (if using honey, skip this step).

  2. Roast oats and nuts lightly for a crunchy texture.

  3. In a bowl, mix oats, whole wheat flour, cinnamon and salt.

  4. Add dates paste + melted butter + vanilla. Mix well until everything sticks together.

  5. Spread mixture into a greased tray, press firmly into a flat layer.

  6. Bake this in a preheated oven at 180*C for 15 mins.

  7. While it,s baking - mix all the ingredients mentioned in the TOP LAYER, give it all a nice mix.

  8. After 15 minutes take the tray out and spread this layer of oats with nuts and chocolate mix. Spread it out evenly and bake for another 20 -25 minutes.

  9. Let it cool completely and then cut it into bars of desired shape.
